Rules (Singles)
League: Round robin. Top 4 players will move to semis
Semis:   Player1 to Player4 ranking is based on highest scores among them in respective order from the league matches.
1st semis Player1 vs Player4
2nd semis Player2 vs Player3
3rd place - 1st semis runner-up vs 2nd semis runner-up
Final - 1st Semis winner vs 2nd semis Winner

Points
All matches from league to final are played as 3 set matches
If both the teams/player win a set each, 3rd set can be a super tie breaker if there is time restrictions or court availability issues or for any other acceptable reasons among all players.
Winning team/player will get 4 points per match
Losing team/player gets 0 point if lost in straight sets and gets 1 point if lost by winning a set
If a player/team withdraws from the tournament at any stage of the tournament the points earned against the player/team will be dropped.
If a match is stopped for any reason except forfeit, then each player/team gets 2 points 
No umpiring allowed in any match at any stage of the game
Players should work it out among themselves wherever it's necessary.
Line calls must be fair by all players and should be made in good spirit and faith of the sport.
Unless it’s clearly out no challenge should be made when called out by opponent team and unless it’s clearly out it should not be called out.
If there is a disagreement in a call, point must be replayed
No retaliatory bad calling when opponent makes an incorrect call. 
No walkover allowed in the middle of the game and if done it’s a forfeit 
No personal comments against any player allowed during or outside the game
Reasonable break during games with mutual agreement among the players 
A player should have two tennis balls while serving, player should not be allowed to pick up a tennis ball unless it might create a safety hazard for players.
Since there is a limit of 2hours booking, players/teams should plan to start ASAP and try to finish the match by 10am (standard booking will be from 8am – 10am). Players/teams are encouraged to book court after 10am 

Tie breaker
A two-way tie is resolved by placing the winner of the match played between the players/teams 
A three-way tie is resolved by
one set play off between three players
if still a tie, number games won by a player
if still a tie, coin toss will decide the ranking 

Match Interruption and rescheduling
If a match is stopped for any reason below rules apply. 
Forfeit:  If play stopped due to Injury, hard stop, walkout or for any other personal reason.
Resume:  If court time runs out, no courts are available or weather-related interruption. When resumed play will continue from where it was stopped. Players responsible to communicate the current scorecard when stopped. No rematch/re-start allowed except for the game i. e if play was stopped when score was 0-30, 30-30 or deuce etc., that game will restart.
FTC unavailability for any reason (USTA tournament, Govt restrictions) will be considered valid reasons for not adhering to the schedule 
Playing at other venues is solely the decision of the players involved. 

Schedule
All players are encouraged to come and play at least one day of the weekend irrespective of whether we are playing tournament match or not 
The teams playing the match are responsible for court booking (call FTC Tues for Sat, Wed for Sun) 
Players are encouraged to coordinate and play on weekdays / weekends as the individual schedule permits 
Singles - Player may coordinate and play matches ahead of the schedule
Singles – Please may coordinate and agree on start time – suggested is 7:30am 
Every effort will be made to stick to the schedule. 
Compliance to schedule is a must. If league matches are not played as per schedule buffer weeks should be used to complete un-played matches.
One match per team per week suggested 
Penn balls recommended. Any other brand (ProPenn, Dunlop) should be consensus of all match players involved.
